What Lead Leeds Nightlife?

La Dolce Vita

Have you ever wondered about how the leaning Tower of Pisa actually works. At 56 metres, the tower is actually only half the size of Leeds's tallest building, Bridgewater Place. Imagine that Bridgewater Place leant to one side as the Tower of Pisa does? It wouldn't seem likely that we would make it a tourist attraction that millions flocked to see. British health and safety standards and building regulations would definitely demand that the building was knocked down and rebuilt.

The Italians, however, have a different outlook on life and for them it is all about La Dolce Vita - the good life. Why worry if the building leans over to one side when you can sit and drink good coffee, eat the world's best pizza and wash it all down with a glass of Chianti? Having such a laidback view of life and the enjoyment of life makes Tuscany a fantastic place to visit.

Finding Tuscany Accommodation is easy. There are thousands of different accommodation options for the discerning traveller. Choose an Italian villa complete with a private pool or a small hotel overlooking an Italian piazza. Whichever accommodation you select, make sure that you sample some local food.

Italian pizza is famous around the world but actually varies considerably within Italy. Sicilian pizza has its ingredients actually baked into the pizza, whereas Rome is famous for its pizza topped with anchovies and oil. Other parts of Italy favour Calzone pizza which is almost like a pizza turnover.

Wherever you are in Italy make sure you sample their particular style of pizza. If in Tuscany wash it down with a glass of their local red wine – Chianti.
